Abstract
The investigation aims to understand tensions in artistic practice at school, based on the curricular offer space to complement Art Education in basic education (Dec. Law 55/2018). Given the consequences of a practice of instrumentalized use of artistic making in the school context, it is expected that this space will be thought from the questioning of its ideological structure, its political and institutional dimension. It is proposed to understand the rhetoric of the positive effects of the student’s relationship with artistic practices, and what is distorted in the artistic with this attempt, playing the risk of seduction by them. This reaction impetus is directed towards these purposes, which aims to understand a (re)structuring of this relationship based on my experience as a plastic artist, sensitive to experience-based research, to critical positioning in art, and to the possibilities of artistic practices. collaborative efforts to build disobedient memories and practices (Atkinson, 2018) in primary education.
