He currently promotes his individual research project Decolonizing Arts Education: The Possibility Of Other Practices In Arts Education In The Cplc – Community Of Portuguese Language Countries (CEEC – FCT) in i2ADS/FBAUP. PhD in Artistic Education (FCT Scholarship), 2018 (FBAUP, Faculty of Fine Arts University of Porto [PT] – Portugal) with the thesis “Decolonizing Knowledge, Policies and Practices of Artistic Education in Higher Education in Cape Verde”; PhD Integrated Member at i2ADS – Art, Design and Society Research Institute [PT], Collaborator at CNAD – National Center for Art, Craft and Design, [CV] – Cape Verde since 2015; Lecturer and Researcher at the University Institute of Art Technology and Culture, [CV] (2012 – 2016); Professor at the University Institute of Education, 2015-2016 [CV]; Professor at the Higher Institute of Art and Culture, 2010 [Moz], Professor at the National School of Visual Arts, 2009, 2010 [Moz]. Worked as School Textbook illustrator and as Teacher’s Guide illustrator for 3 years for the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Cape Verde.
