Sally Santiago (1996), Brazilian artist and researcher, lives and works in Portugal. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Communication (UAM/BR), a Master’s degree in Contemporary Artistic Creation (UA/PT), and is a doctoral fellow in the Fine Arts PhD program at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto. Since 2020, she has worked in artistic and cultural institutions. She was a member of the organizing and artistic committee of the international conference FEMeeting: Women in Arts, Science, and Technology in 2022 (Évora/PT), 2023 (Taos/US), and 2024 (Windsor/CA). She has participated in several experimental video festivals and regularly takes part in exhibitions, residencies, and conferences. In recent years, she has sought to bring to a conscious surface the movements of existence that unfold between body and space. Her work highlights the interplay between human presence and its connection to the surrounding world.
