O artista multimédia norte americano Monteith McCollum apresenta o seu trabalho, discutindo e explorando conceptualmente uma das suas trilogias em filme, com foco em questões sonoras. McCollum realiza também uma performance sonora na Sonoscopia, no ciclo Microvolumes, dia 7 de Março, às 19h.

Monteith McCollum is an inter-media artist working in film, sound, and sculpture.  His films have screened at Festivals and Museums including The Museum of Modern Art, Hirshhorn, Wexner Center for the Arts and Festivals including SXSW, Slamdance, San Francisco International Festival.   His films have garnered dozens of festival awards including an IFP Truer than Fiction Spirit Award. His film and sound work have received support from organizations including New York Foundation for the Arts, Rockefeller Foundation, NEA, Jerome Foundation and Kodak.  Recent Audio Visual performances of “Hidden Frequencies” include HallWalls, Fylkingen, EMAF, NYU, & Alchemy Film Festival.
