Maria de Lurdes Azevedo Moreira Silva Gomes, completed the Master Degree in Visual Arts Teaching in 2010 by the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto, Degree in Design in in Equipment 2002 by the School of Arts and Design. Attends the PhD in Arts Education at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto since October 2019 and is a collaborating researcher of i2ADS, developing research on arts education with ID_CAI. Is Invited Assistant (Polytechnic Teacher) at the Polytechnic Institute of Cávado and Ave (IPCA) and at the Higher School of Media Arts and Design (ESMAD) since 2017 but the first experience like a Invited Assistant (Polytechnic Teacher) was in 2010. She is responsible to the curricular units of Drawing and Technical Representation, Fashion Design, Digital Illustration, Materials and Production Process and Furniture Design and has been supervisor of the final reports of the students in the courses who is or was teaching. Develops research on Higher Education in Design with a focus on issues related to criticism, ethics, speculative design and the decolonization of design.
