#15_ ENCONTRO ABERTO COM NORA STERNFELD, Aalto University, FI

The Insurrection of Subjugated Knowledges
Unruly Knowledge Production in Art, Education, Research and Activism
While key words such as ‘artistic knowledge production’ or ‘practice based research’ have become ubiquitous in the fields of art, education and curating, I would like to focus on the long tradition of dissident knowledges: Based on readings of Michel Foucault, Donna Haraway and Irit Rogoff we will be asking the question how critical and situated knowledge production can unsettle the canon and challenge what can be said, done and seen.
